Brocket Hall is one of the finest stately homes in England. Although the property has welcomed Kings, Queens and Presidents for over 300 years, it wasn't until the early '90s that the golf course was built. I had the pleasure of working with Lord Brocket himself, a cousin of the Queen. Although he didn't play golf, he was an enthusiastic and engaging character who had a passion for Ferraris. A somewhat slower mode of transport (right) was a ferry that took players from the 18th fairway to the green. It quickly became known as the "Brocket Rocket".
