Alcaidesa is to be found close to Gibraltar at the western end of the Mediterranean. It is a links course on gently undulating ground with masses of whin bushes stretching far beyond the semi-rough. The course, which has spectacular ocean views, faithfully follows the natural contours and very little dirt was moved. Many of the best and most famous courses in the world were designed this way.
